and so, i went all the way to vivocity to buy something, only to realise that the shop had branches in hougang central AND hougang south.

Look, come to think of it, if you hadnt gone to the Vivo one, you wont know the branches at Hougang. Moreover, you got what you wanted in teh end, so the final purpose was served, its jus you took a longer process. Take it as a leisure trip out to know/explore Singapore la. Dont you wanted to do that?
