haha, a show of hands how many ppl felt that title farmilar.

was in a dungeon the other day, part of the dungeon requires a few party members to touch a altar of some sort to open a door. when the members touch the altar they glow for awhile before the event triggers... and so while 'glowing' and waiting for the event to happen, thats what i typed in the chat window "by our powers combined..."

and the next thing i know from 2 different persons are the following replies:

singaporean - "earth."
american - "man, i've always felt bad for the heart kid"
me - on the floor laughing

ran a quick search on wikipedia, it turns out that the official website for captain planet is still very much alive and it seems that there is a newer series called the new adventures of captain planet and the planeteers. and btw, the correct phrase is "by your powers combined, ... blah blah blah" as opposed to 'our powers' when i mentioned it in the chat

man, cartoon reach out to everyone, regardless of nationality, thou i have to say, for a moment i was taken aback by the american's response. firstly, i wasnt aware that they showed it in america (thou it made sense now, since its probably 'made in america' anyway) secondly, his age probably isnt very far from our age.
